[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="WAIW"]Not to burst your bubble, but the only fair comparison would be to release them both at the same time and then compare the reception. As it is, 2009 has higher standards than 2007, so there's no clear winner.Aku101
What game raised the FPS standards after Halo 3?
COD 4
It only raised the bar for unbalanced gameplay and the most AWESOME moments in the campaign.
if Halo 3 has 1 billion games played, i wonder how many games of CS have been played.warmaster670
Go find out! Seriously, I would like to know, but I don't want to do any reasearch for a game I don't play anymore, or barely. Just incase some people think I'm bashing CS, it's a great game.
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="Rikusaki"] Standards rise with time. jjenkins78x
What FPS game came out after Halo 3 to raise those standards? Standards don't just go up by themselves, there needs to be a game that raises those standards. COD4, in many people's opinions. It ended up beating Halo for FPS of the year at most sites and on most publications. COD4 is what GTA4 is now, boring. COD4 is one of the most unbalanced games this gen, and it's not all that realisti as people make it out to be. Besides, it also came out for PS3 and PC, so they all voted for COD4 without playing Halo 3 (most of them, anyways).
