Honestly I haven't had any problems with Vista Ultimate SP1 x64. I generally get 50-80 fps in Age of Conan, and 60-90 fps in Word of Warcraft. Perhaps it might be more in XP with my rig, but I enjoy Vista more.. and I never thought I would say THAT. ;)
My red and black DS Lite has started experiencing the same thing. Suddenly shutting down during gameplay, and this is after it had been fully recharged. When I try to turn it off, the DS light just blinks green and won't shut off until the battery completely drains in a day or two. Very frustrating! I don't play it alot and it's well stored away from the wife when not in use..
Did you do an online repair or call their Customer Service directly? I think I need to do the same...
