Speaking of bots, I tested your description on ChatGPT and it suggested Age of War

Then it said

If this doesn't match the game you're thinking of, there are a few other similar games from around that time that you might consider, such as "Stick War" or "Epic War." However, "Age of War" seems like the closest match to your description. You might be able to find it on websites that host old flash games or on modern sites that have preserved these classics.

Arkham combat was/is awesome if you play for high score. Long combos, mixing as many different moves as possible and setting up high score finishers. Itโ€™s not that great if you just want to โ€winโ€ (finish a level) with minimum effort. Then you can use really simple tactics.

I donโ€™t think any other studio has done the system nearly as good.

Is that the correct link? Just goes to the artwork...

Seems a bit late to be changing engine? Unless it's an updated version of the engine they are currently using.

I think it looks great, but I'm worried it will be a bit one note like other soulsborne titles (imo). The aesthetics are excellent. Really cool enemy design and the main character is also excellent. Seems like you have a large and varied moveset. And I do like the animal transformations.

I'm personally a bit more excited for Crimson Desert, but that is just because I like the Witcher type games more than this.

Hmm after Googling it seems like Bloomberg evaluated Valve to be worth 7,7 billion in 2022. So it seems unreasonable to think it is worth more than 16 now actually ๐Ÿค”. Less than I thought tbh

Awesome, very excited for more Doom! Not sure how much the Medieval setting will influence things as I'm sure it will still feel like Doom. I guess it will have more of an aesthetic effect?

Please no... That would be horrendous. But legacy should mean more than cash at this point for Gaben?

I will never thought of saying this but; 16 billion is not enough money.

That too. Valve is worth much more than double that of Bethesda?

In overly complex games I can see that being extremely helpful... Even as plimented in tutorial levels to help player understand the game... Outside that, I don't really want an Ai spoon feeding me the solutions to my purchase.

Yeah, I could have used AI to help me with inventory managment and shipbuilding in Starfield!

As for tutorials, one thing in particular I think would be great is when you come back to a game after a long pause. I usually have forgoten a lot of the mechanics and the story etc. It would be awesome if you can just ask an AI assistant to get you back to speed.

Brilliant and couldn't agree more with that last past. That would be huge for me since I do that a lot. lol ;)

Yeah me too... more and more often ๐Ÿ˜…

Feels overly staged but it is an interesting concept

That is also worth to keep in mind! I remember Google had an AI demo a while back that was almost entirely staged.

So itโ€™s good to stay critical
