And Twin Galaxies will continue to be as irrelevant as it has been since day one. Nobody cares about that site or that ancient man-child that loves to sue everyone.
@Subterfuge: the fact that the DS Edge controller has easily replaceable sticks shows that they know it’s an issue. At least those are Hall effect sensors, which theoretically never drift. Should’ve put those in the base DS5.
I’ve never had an issue with battery life on the DS5. If you’re gaming for 12 hours and need your controller to stay charged for that long, I think you need to rethink your life choices.
The real problem with these controllers are the analog stick potentiometers. They are complete garbage. I’ve had 3 DS5s develop stick drift, all with less than 100 hours on them. Meanwhile, my LAUNCH (2013) DS4 (which has tens of thousands of hours on it) still functions completely fine without a hint of drift or any other issue.
Bringing it to console this late in its life seems pointless. A console version would only appeal to casuals, and casuals moved on from WoW a looooong time ago.
Plus, it would be Xbox exclusive, which means only a tiny fraction of players would be able to play it; and nobody is buying an Xbox just to play a 20 year old MMO.
