Probably, old models once updated, sell out and arent worth the companys time to keep producing. Its happening with the PS3's now, soon there wont be any original versions left on shelves and we'll get the updated ones.
I think TP on the Wii is probably one of the best games out for the system, if not the best. I just hate hooking up my GC because it loks so clunky and horrible.
