Absolutely. Pixar is a cyst on the backside of Disney, churning out lemon after lemon and costing the corporate giant nothing but headaches and financial nightmares. They need to dump their ass and get back to making money with what they truly shine at - franchises like the Disney Princesses, branded mp3 players, and brilliant new properties like Meet the Robinsons and the beautifully executed and often poignant Chicken Little.

Disney is dead. The last truly great animated movie they did was probably The Lion King, though a handful of their later ones weren't too bad. Beyond that I can't say much about them other than they do way too many direct to video sequels and Pixar is probably the only thing still keeping them afloat - and as far as story and animation quality go, Pixar is far close to the old hand-drawn style than any of Disney's absolute garbage CGI offerings.

If any of the other studios had animated movies on par with Pixar, the world would be a better place. Instead, we have Dreamworks paddling Shrek for all eternity, obsessed with pop culture references and big-name stars, Disney, who has been bumbling around for the past decade unable to make anything that doesn't suck, and Blue Sky. I guess Blue Sky is probably the only company who hasn't made total crap, but they seem to leap back and forth between Pixar quality and Dreamworks pandering a bit too much.

Ghibli and Pixar are the only two large studios left in the world who can actually make decent animated fare.
