@izTamz And can you even remember any of the supposed "good" exclusives?. Other than Uncharted, Gran turismo, TLOU, Heavy rain....no?. Thought not, some exclusives.

@northArrow A number of factors has to be taken in to account

- MS don't own that many studios. Compare that to Sony, who has quiet a number of them under their belt.

- The relationships of various developers between MS & Sony. MS is more stringent, whilst Sony is / tend to be more open. I remember Level 5 & MS joint venture with the defunct game True Fantasy. Level 5 and MS will never work together.

- MS are not willing to take a risk with different / new IP. This mentality is found in Nintendo as well. Sony just dumps any game on their system.

But in general, yes you have a fair point. MS need to realise this other wise, with lack of exclusives on their system. Their system will struggle again to attract any new gamers on their device.

@frozengrudge And Sony's line up is just as pitiful. And Sony drones think it's better, make me laugh just as hard.

@---SnakePiston--- Now this isn't related as such, but the principle of MS buying their competitors from people and selling their own products as such. And saying that MS is desperate. Well Dyson are a very good vacuum manufactures in the UK. So what does this particular bit tell you then, are Dyson desperate as you all say.

"Offer available on all Dyson upright and cylinder vacuums when you trade in any brand of vacuum."

@AngelsongCA "Now people can see how they can watch TV on their TV" - oh you mean like the PS4 as well. Watching TV on their TV, damn forgot that the PS4 can do that as well. Heck TV on the small screen via the Vita...damn, forgot all about that as well.

@SkyAboveThePort I wouldn't say smarter, more like familiarity. To tally in what you stated "So a narrow but defined market is better for X1" - MS has struggled to win the Asian market for the last two generations. And it explains why they are heavily focusing on the Western market.

@straightcur Most companies pretty much do this. How else do they get info on these sort of things.
