@Flyin3lvl: Those Tell Tale games aren't even close to $60 a piece and are download only. It's a completely different thing then what it sounds like SquareEnix is planning to do with this game. I hope I'm wrong, otherwise there is no excuse and it's complete BS.

@Flyin3lvl: a.k.a let's milk this for all it's worth. Seriously, the "we can't fit it all on one disc" thing is total BS. A blu-ray disc can hold 25GB worth of data, 50GB if dual-layered, and is apparently even capable of a whopping 200GB maximum(using compression). There is just no way that this game is so large that 200GB wouldn't be enough, but even if it is, they could just use 2 discs. Nobody wants to buy 3 or 4 discs at $60 apiece in order to get the full game. That is some shady shit.

@_plaguelight_@JustPlainLucas@UnbornCorpser: I don't think either company is afraid to confirm it. Everyone already knows the story. I think the reason they haven't confirmed it is because they don't need to. We can see it for ourselves. In this case, not confirming it is confirming it. If it was fake, I'm pretty sure one of the companies would have made sure to let us know.

If true, this is a great idea on Nintendo's part. The fact that being able to play Wii U games right on the controller was so limited is likely one of the things that likely hurt sales. Using current tech, naming the console something without "Wii" in it, and getting rid of the aforementioned limitation the Wii U has sounds like another potential huge hit for Nintendo.
