@hvd2222: The Breaking Point mod for Arma 3 is amazing. Better than Day-Z and runs better than the Wasteland servers on Arma 3. You get more than 20fps in built up areas lol.
@squall_83: You're absolutely right about the resolution an such. But the fact that you need hardware that can run 4K, to be able to use this at all is the major sticking point for me. It's a very expensive peripheral. Good luck to it though and the early adopters. I'll just wait for prices to come down and studios are fully supporting it with games that I want to play.
@mobius_basic: I had is DK2 running on my i7 950k and a GTX 680. Elite dangerous was the only real game that I spent any time on and it ran fine. Would of liked more FPS but hey. I'am sure he will be fine. I just thought it funny that he failed on the cpu test, but you're right the test itself must be a bit sketchy.
My friend ordered one last night ( more money than sense lol ) It came to £529 which is $771.84 USD. What made me laugh most was when he checked his system spec and was told that his i7 wasnt good enough. What does the rift actually do when you need such a beefy pc to even run the thing. Is'nt it just a 5 inch screen with some sensors and a bit of plastic and foam?
@Dannystaples14 @SouthLSoldier @obamalied @esqueejy @xboxonly1 You are of course entirely correct. I just wanted to jump on the willy waving bandwagon. Maybe i should of put a smiley face at the end of my comment to make it clear i was just teasing.
PS thanks for calling me human. Its the nicest thing I've been called on the internet :)
