John Rambo is one of my favorite movie characters, I hope this game does the movies justice. If it's just another bad movie licensed game, I don't think my heart could take it.
I was enjoying myself, the gameplay was good, the story was well written and then at the courthouse level when I went through a door the game started to load and then never came back. Then when I rest the system and tried to play it again, my save file was gone. Dammit. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a fix for it?
I left Clementine at the house with a gun to watch over Omid, what happens if you take her with you? Or if you tell her to run and hide at the first sight of trouble? Does Omid die?
Yeah she's kinda that cliche badass character with a dark past who doesn't like to talk about it, but either way I thought she was really cool and I was disappointed she decided not to stay. That being said I did like her backstory. I would have much rathered she had stayed instead of Ben, but I guess he's got his redemption coming up. Hope we see her again in Episode 5.
Actually after trying that last talk one more time I was able to get everyone to come with me. When Kenny was hesitant I told him Clem was my family. After he got mad when I asked Ben to come along I told him to deal with it. Then when Ben got hesitant, I told him Clementine needed him and he agreed to come along. Seems like no matter what, you can get Ben and Kenny to come with you, its just that depending on how you've treated them all you might need is a few extra words for convincing.
The first time I played episode 4, at the moment where you have to decide whether to pull Ben up or not, I was THIS close to pulling him up when I had this weird flashback to Carly dying. And in a moment of what I can only describe as rage I dropped him, I immediately felt terrible when I heard him scream and saw the zombies eating him. Moving on after the whole thing with Clementine and Lee getting bitten. Christa, Omid, and Kenny all decided to help me look for her. Afterward I saw that some players had them plus Ben helping them out, I went back and saved Ben. But then at the end of it all Kenny refuses to help because he says at first I was by his side but then started only looking out for myself! And then Ben is like, "I'll stay at the house, you don't trust me anyway." Is Kenny only not helping because I saved Ben? Would I just be better off leaving the little screw up at the bottom of the bell tower at this point? What the hell?
Back to the Future( up until the end) was a really fun and great game for that movie series. Jurassic Park had potential but, the bad characters and ridiculousness of some things really brought it down a couple of points. And by ridiculousness I mean things like an old woman outrunning a velociraptor when we were clearly told in the first movie that they can run at cheetah speed. Which is 60-70 mph. Or the merc who took on a raptor and won. But overall it was kinda fun. They outdid themselves with The Walking Dead. Only problem is the wait between chapters. All that being said, would you like for them to make a game based on Jaws? Jaws is due a good game, and I think Telltale could pull it off. I'm not entirely sure how they would do the first bit where people are getting killed on the beach, but the other half, where the shark is being hunted could be something real special.
