The point of the show is to showcase the new console and games in a different way and I get what some of you are stating in the comments but keep in mind there are all kinds of people that visit GameSpot. Some are much more casual when it comes to games, shows like this are fun and entertaining to them. I don't see anything wrong with content that is geared towards those kind of users. Especially when the site creates content for all kinds of gamers, it makes sense to try to include everyone into the mix.

While I appreciate your recalling of old GameSpot yearly features, I ask that you don't passively aggressively insult anyone on my staff. They are ways to present criticism without labeling people or targeting them in such a way. The individuals who work here are all hard working and dedicated professionals. If you ever do it again, I will gladly remove you from the site.
@randalmcdaniel8 sounds like you got a ton of play time out of $3! May I suggest you write more about your experience in a blog on the site or possibly creating a user review. It might serve to push your point across easier than just a comment.

@hastati4 I've been happy with buying the season pass since it gives me something to look forward to after the first release. Although, I totally get where you're coming from.

It's a small group of Navy Seals against a lot of bad guys. Kinda like what CoD and BF games present in single player story stuff, except you know...real life.
