Blue is seen as the color of truth and honesty is generally considered to be a trait the hero possesses.  However, you neglected to mention the eye color of older FF hero/ines.  Terra Branford from FFVI had green eyes IIRC.

Cheers!

KEFKA!!

Examples of Evil:

1)  Poisoned an entire kingdom killing all but one of its citizens.

2)  Enslaving a young girl and used her as a living weapon.

3)  Resposible for the genocide of the Esper race.

4)  Actually accomplished destroying the world.

5)  Created a city of orphans.

6)  Killed General Leo.

7)  Betrayed his own Emperor and then killed him.

8)  Turned the Goddesses against the world.

9)  Created a massive weapon called the Light of Judgement that killed thousands.

10)  Ummm...did I mention his laugh?

Cheers!

Also, I hate the fact that the casts of each game seem to be getting younger and younger.  Why can't there be more generational equality?  I'd like to see a Final Fantasy game have a cast my age (I'm 24)!  I've been playing the series since the beginning and I have yet to see a cast that isn't cheesey and cute.

The only exceptions are FFVI and FFVII.

Cheers!

Whatever happened to having a strong female lead in a Final Fantasy?  I'd like to see Final Fantasy at least try for gender equality.  I'm sick of seeing female characters in the newer Final Fantasies act like complete flakes!  I want there to be more equality in the series.  I long for the days of FFVI!!!

Cheers!

The day that Final Fantasy becomes something other than an RPG series is the day I will stop playing!  It is the best selling RPG series of all time (beating out the Zelda series, imagine that!) and I'd hate to see SE change horses midstream.

Cheers!

A friend and I got into an argument about Square losing its creativity and I brought up the idea of lack of innovation in character design. I said Square was starting to get lazy and my friend asked me for proof. I told him to look no further than Sion from the Square fighting game "The Bouncer" and Sora from "Kingdom Hearts" and "Kindom Hearts II". They look almost identical! There were other examples that I used, but this is one that got me thinking. Aside from the idea of inspiration, do you think Square purposely makes some characters similar in design, that is their physical characteristics, to try and communicate some sort of family tree running throughout the series? It would be pretty cool if that were the case and I'd put money right away on Zidane, Vaan and Locke being related aswell as Yuna and Ashe. If not, I'll just keep on biasedly saying that they're getting  lazy lol.SkyCastleDan

They're all related biologically through the Twilight Zone!

What I wish happened is when you reach the highest level attainable, there would be a boss battle that would be obscenely difficult and would reward you with a really rare and cool item.  Or, maybe some armor or something that was a privelidged item for getting as strong as possible.  I'd like for there to be something that makes you feel that you accomplished something.

To me, if you spend hours and hours levelling up, getting stats maxed, exploring, etc. you should get at least SOMETHING for all your hard work other than beating the final boss rather easily.

Too long have I played RPG's that offer NO incentives!  I long to play an RPG that makes you feel like you actually did something and made a difference.

Cheers!

19 hours straight playing FFVI.  I only took time out for bathroom breaks and snacks.

Cheers!

[QUOTE="SladeMcGowan"]

I have the entire series.  I even have FFIII in English that is playable on my Dreamcast via a mod.

Cheers!

Jessica

dareheaven

i really doubt that you have the ENTIRE series, i just think its very hard to obtain all of the collection (including the ones only made in japan)

Actually, I do.  FFIII was never released in America (until this year on the DS) and it's playable via an NES mod I have for my Dreamcast.  I also have Bahamut Lagoon!  I also import.

Cheers!
