depends on whether you mean non-stop literally, or if you allow breaks for food and necessities. without any breaks I've played for about 10 hours: FF VII and X with breaks for food/necessities I've gond somewhere between 48 and 72 hours, lost count somwhere after 48: FF VII, VIII and X. I remember thinking I have to get some sleep, but there was just something about the game that kept me going the worst part is: I would have done it again - and probably will once the ps3 and FFXIII is released

No way you went 48 to 72 hours without sleep. I'm raising the flag on that.
In all honesty not very long (well, not as long as some of you crazy people have played it for). I prefer to get the most out of my games by playing through them in my own time and at my leisure, I'd rather not play it all in one go and not take very much of the story in, as I would imagine would be the case. Besides, I have a very active social life...I think >_>. If I did have a especially long session at my console, then it would have to be at around 5 hours, I remember playing Tactics for an extended period of time around that mark. It's not often you get a game never released in Europe you know.
The longest time I spent playing through with no breaks, except for potty breaks, was 46 hours non-stop. The title was Final Fantasy Anthology! It was a long,long time since I got to play a FF game, I just couldn't seem to stop!! Then I realised that I failed to buy a memory card!!! Man, talk about racing to a store.After I did a quick save I crashed for ten hours!
Close to around 20 hours playing FFXI. Started at around 7am, did some major questing with a friend of mines, then I found a great party to level with, then when I was about to turn of the game, another friend ask me to help kill a dragon, then after that I found another great party to level with. I didn't go to sleep till around 3or 4am. I didn't eat much that day either & from then on, my girlfriend hated FFXI cause I ignored her the whole day and pretty much everytime I played that game. Good times.
When I first started playing Star Wars Galaxies, I could go on for 18 hours. It was fun, but I don't think I'll ever do something like that again (especially not in Galaxies because I don't play it anymore).
Final Fantasy VII 21 Hours....2 days to beat it. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 15 Hours.....Beat it that very day start to finish. Social Life don't really need it. Why? Everyone calls me a Videogame Fanatic. It's like crack to me.......just like soda.

You know I rushed in KH2 when it first came out but my friend bought so i had to play it at his house so him and me beat the game in i believe 33 hours and a couple of minutes only finishing 74% of the game
so I missed some of the extra story parts in the game like the Cloud vs. Sephiroth fight.
and i didn't know Tactics wasn't realeased in europe
When I finally picked up Chrono Trigger recently, I played it for about 20 hours straight playing through it, then resetting at certain parts and doing things differentlly. It was a fun night! :)
MY longest is 36 hours on FFVIII because I ate while I played(God was my controller greasy) and I had a friend make my food for me, well if you don't count bathroom breaks. Even than that friend of mine played for me while I was gone we were just beating the game and got caught up in it.
