Online gaming. Well we all know Live is the best online service. Fine it cost $$$ big deal .13 day or $4 month Oh and yes Live has a spectacular online movie service and most are offered in HD.
As for the HD-DVD add on big deal MS sees that HD-DVD has stoled some ground from FLOP-RAY

You might have to return it. Im pretty sure apple covers faulty ipods for couple months (maybe more) and if you got yours rescently they will replace it for sure.
