Matt Ryan is supported by a stellar defense, as well as two of the best running backs in the NFL, Michael Turner and Warrick Dunn.

Too bad Warrick Dunn plays for Tampa Bay and has played for them all year.

Falcons- Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude.

Matt Ryan is omgomgomgomgomg. And Micheal Turner has by far surpassed my expectations, 2nd in the league. :D

And we still even have a shot at the division, that is if the Panthers lose their last game. But that doesn't even matter at this point, were going to the playoffs. :D

[QUOTE="Sk8nNotH8n"]I agree, thats the only way I could see anyone prefer P3 over P4. Persona 3 literally made me cry, the only time I have ever cried to a video game. Such epic... So... since you're here, what chances does P4 have at RPG of the year? :DLarkAnderson
I can say with great confidence that there is a 100% chance that you'll find out the answer to this question when we unveil the awards :P

Fair enough. I can't wait regardless of the results.:D

This game has high school classes, so if you really wanted to you could drop out and buy this game.

I'd do it.

Nope, there is one little refrence to Persona 3 that is really small, a cameo that has no real importance really.

You should try out Persona 3 FES and other SMT titles.

Skylarkell

As for the second review, it sounds more like the problems with P4 were the problems with the JRPG genre as a whole. He says he hates that in order for the story to move on, you need level up your party... not to mention he claims you need to bring up your secondary stats (courage, knowledge, Understanding etc...) in order for the plot to move on, which is untrue. He dislikes all the abundance of dialog as well... bet he says he likes the story... Honestly most of these "faults" seem like strengths to me. :P

When I read the review, I was like

I am somewhat of an SMT fanboy, I'm not gonna lie, but the faults, as you said, are parts of most, if not all JRPG's.

Of course the game is going to be long since there is so much to do.

And about the graphics, well duh, its on the PS2, were they expecting Odin Sphere graphics or PS3 type ones?

I am too. :P No reason to be ashamed, wear your SMT pride. :)

I agree, they should have judged this game on its overall presentation and art style, because there is no way P4 could compete with most HD games. Personally I think it looks great, especially the menus, as always.

Gameplay-wise P4 is better hands down. It improved on almost everything that was already great in P3. I do prefer the story in P3 over P4 though--it just seemed so much more epic, especially the ending.LarkAnderson

[QUOTE="Waffle_Fish"]Was not expecting that o.o. Now I sort of really want this, do I need to play the rest of the Persona series to understand this one?Skylarkell

I noticed it was a different reviewer from P3. Lark did this one, I wonder which one is the better of the two.white_sox
IMO (and most of the reviewers for that matter), Persona 4 is the better game. I've been playing Persona 4 for the past few days and it solves every problem that there was with P3. Voice acting is much better (and abundant), the story is more consistent, the navigation between locations is miles above P3 (the square button brings up a quick navigation menu, for less traveling), there are much more save points... I could honestly go on and on.

Amazon says it'll be at my door tomorrow. I'm so excited. :D

As for P4's gameranking score... it is a little early, but look at the consistancy of the reviews. Half of them so far have been AAAAs, the rest were AAAs.
