I disagree with the review(like many others, though not as ferociously so). The level of difficulty is just right to me, the bosses are fun, and when I figure out a puzzle that I was stuck on, I have this "duh" realization cause the answer was there in front of me. The graphics are better than I expected, the script is good, great physical comedy, and enemy variety is varied through the game. It should have received at least two number grades higher, but that's just my opinion.
As an avid fighting game player, the missing replay modes are not that big of a deal. You still have youtube if you really need help with learning advanced combos and character play. The game can't hold your hand for everything. I personally liked the story, it was well within the realm of how comic books work their stories. The fighting mechanics in the game are solid, and the versus play is as good as any other game on the market right now.
I enjoyed the entire experience. The story closes the series very well, one of the few games in which I liked the ending now a days. The gunplay was tight, good atmosphere (not as scary as DS1 though), and the guncrafting was simply awesome. It would get a nine from me from being just an overall great experience
