Sometimes I realize I might sound rude with my oppinions about people who like shooters or games with too much shooting and no thinking... Just a couple of hours ago I was standing in front of a games' store, and I saw, in a 60" LED tv a shooter I haven't seen before, awesome graphics, terrific sound effects, it was a thrill !!! I have nothing againts shooters and games alike... but I spend a lot of time playing games (probably too much time)... Doctors say "brain is a muscle"... Old RE games made me feel I was excercising my "little gray cells" as old good Poirot says... but now...(sigh) just excersicing my thumbs squishing buttons... I'm not expecting a game to teach me the meaning of life... (and of course, you'd be right if you tell me "want action for your brain?go read a book!!!) I miss those old good times with a RE full of brain teasers...

@Navidoom Let me tell you that I agree with you far beyond my poor level of english language... At this point, I want to share a secret with you and you can laugh if you want, but sometimes I fell these "New-gen games" so "CoDified" are missing something...it's just about "go go go, shoot shot shot"... and somethimes, I feel like I need something else...that's why I support a game gender that was absolutly unknown to me until last summer: hiden object games ( I hear loud laughs coming....) But believe me, there's a lot of those games developed by very smart people who are able to tell you magnificent stories (God, there are even HOG about Edgard Alan Poe's stories !!!!) with awesome puzzles and intriguing characters. At first I didnt want to have anything to do with those kind of gamers...I though they were "10-years-old-girls"oriented...But I was wrong. Today I find somethimes more joy in indie games...Ten years before, I played almost every single game that came out...with age comes "wisdom", this year was a very "poor gamer year" for me... no more than...half a dozen "major titles"...

Leon's campaign was ok, now I'm playing Chris' and...I'ts so "shooter-like" that somethimes I forget what game I'm playing... I must admit that after I read the review I didnt feel like getting this game, but It's just a matter of personal prefferences... I heard very awful thing about Resident Evil Revelations (which I played last week) but I really enjoyed it... Anyway, I agree with the reviewer that this game has too much quick time events, and sometimes I feel like the game "runs on wheels"

(Sigh) Let's face it guys, old school Resident Evil is long gone... But, humbly, I dont think this game deserves a 4.5... Something between 6 and 7 is the score I would give it...
