@LowTechGeek Precisely. I hate them all. It just happens that this piece of shit Biden is currently in power and his running mate ran as a change agent and it's all just the same old bullshit, just with a sold out black guy in a suit instead of a white one.
@grokh Yeah and it's amazing how ignorant the UK is to dental hygiene. Slanders are fun, yes?
But seriously, did my post not just agree with yours? I basically implied that money talks and bullshit walks in American politics. You're not saying anything new.
@grokh Mentally defective people can't purchase firearms. The problem is that the government doesn't enforce the laws it already has on the books. If it had, the headcases in Aurora and Tucson would not have been able to buy guns. No new gun control laws needed -- that shit is already on the books, just the assholes we have running the country are too busy thinking of new things to tax instead.
@flyersfan87 How do you think publishers feel about the diminished sales and Microsoft's insistence on not cutting the price along historical lines? Probably not very good. You talk about partners, yet you ignore that Microsoft could be opening all kinds of new markets with a reduced price point that would pave the way to increased sales for all those partners. Doesn't seem like much to be pleased about from where I'm sitting.
No axe to grind, you're saying investors care about "feel good" fluff, which they don't. Profit is good, yes -- but if you sell only one system and it's profitable, is that something to be happy about?
But yeah, you're totally right -- investors and partners are thrilled with how Microsoft is running things.
