The PC Hardware forums deal with all hardware relating to PC's. A sticky above explains in detail.

And no, if you dont have a pci-e x16 slot, you cannot use any pci-e cards.

Idles at 47c, 53c under load, and my case aint exactly well ventilated. Oc'd it to 650/1900, could go higher, but there is really no point in my current configuration. Upgrayedd from a 7900gs that ran at 55 idle.

Sorry for hijacking the topic. :P

I recently got this for $130 after rebate:

I oc'd it a bit and it works fine. Now all I need is a new mobo and cpu to stop the bottlenecking. :(

Depending on the airflow in your case and whether the Cpu heatsink/fan are stock, you should add more fans if you plan on oc'ing

Video Cards can take temps up to 120c. If you get anywhere close to that, be afraid.

You will most likely want to buy a new heatsink fan for your cpu. I am not sure where you live, but higher ambient temperatures from switching seasons could show up now, even though the problem existed before.

Disabling the pagefile will do nothing to help. Turn off AA, that might work a bit better.

A new computer will run you about as much as you want to spend, and it will be able to play CoD4, so lets say $1000.

If it is broken, the upgrade cost will depend on what is broke.
