Not bashing or anything but since Rockstars knew this was going to happen on day one, they should have called this an Open Beta of the online component. Fix it, then say, it's released. That way these kids would have their rage tendencies overwritten.
I don't even think he should have died. I never saw him as a bad guy to begin with. I empathized more with Haytham than Connor somehow. But like you said, they squandered his role when they made him more loyal to the templar cause than his own flesh and blood. :/
Well I actually prefer GTAV over RDR, it's an excellent game, granted, but in the end it's just a matter of preference for the themes between the 2. They're both awesome!
Despite this, it's not really the whole gangster thing I like about GTA. It's the same reason that you play it, the actual world that mixes nature with modern life seamlessly and the way it immerses you into it then gives you all the tools to let your imagination go wild in a (moderately) realistic simulation of present day. And this immersion rarely breaks because despite the fact that the game doesn't do the best of all the million things it does, it virtually doesn't do anything wrong either, which most Open World Games do.
Ok, so after watching the video it's clear that they want GTAV to have been what it wasn't supposed to be.
I also wasn't happy with the comparison that they made with the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod. It's a mod, and only available for the PC (whic the developers didn't make), and GTAV is a console exclusive (for now anyway), so where's the alternative if you're a console gamer?
Another thing to keep in mind is this: Even though I agree about what they mentioned, that those games do better than GTAV, they do worst for everything else.
But then again, this is just my opinion and I don't mean to disrespect anyone, I just hope that my opinion gets respected by those that don't agree and hopefully with logical criticism.
I'm a Console gamer AND a PC gamer. I live both realities of these gaming communities, and I'm ashamed to be part of both sometimes.
You two seem to have a good head over your shoulders but there are people that are seriously too immature, from both sides, consoles and PC community are alike, there is no longer mutual respect between two opposing opinions.
