Positives:

best game library, Xbox Live goldwell worth it if you use it (free demos, unlimited online play, and xbox livediamond if you ga 12 moth subscription) comforatable controller with rumble, great customer support. Better friends list and community features if hooked to the internet and your computer. Comes with all of the cables you need. (PS3 makes you buy component and HDMI cables)

negatives:

some consoles have problems (but you will get a 3 year warentee to cover you and if it does break they send you another refurbished one in like a week). $50 a year for online play. HD-DVD is an attachment (if you are into that). wireless is an adapter. Loud.

I think the human eye can see at about 40-47 frames per second, but I don't see what the big deal is, movies and tv shows are shot at about 24 frames per second and they look fine to me.

Here is a wikipedia link if you don't believe me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frames_per_second. (24 fps for movies because it looks good)

It depends on where you live, but I can pretty much guarentee that if they are on the shelves, they probably won't be around for long the first couple of days. I'm also sure that Bungie gets the picture that this game is going to be big- Much bigger than even Halo 2 and thus I come to my final point that bungie is going to have made a crapload of copies for stores.

Hey, if someone wants to mod thier console, go ahead.  Just don't go online and I'll be fine.  And if you do, you are going to get the boot from Microsoft, and Microsoft has a very big boot.

I don't really think that you can compare the two in terms of gameplay, they are two totally different genres.  But in terms of sales, Halo will definately beat GTA IV (at least on xbox sales not overall because GTA is multi-platform)

i hope everyone here realizes that this is fake, it's not even from the bungie site.  If the link lead to bungie, I would believe it, but this is just useless senseless crap that someone threw out because they thought it would be funny or they wanted to get bungie in troule.  Stop posting this junk that wastes my timm

I don't know why everyone is saying that this is a "slow" game because it is not.  Sure, it can take hours to take out all of your opponents if you are playing a 6 or 8 person match, but I can guarentee that if you are playing a worthy opponent and you are not building/ teching and using all of your available resources, you will lose.  that is what is different in Sup Com than other rts games.  Your resources are basically unlimited, its just a matter of how much you can pump out per second.  In other rts games once your wood/gold/ whatever is gone, its gone, forcing you limit your units and attacks.  not that tose games are bad, they are just a different style.
