To Thefjk - John Romero is a developer from the classic games Wolfenstein and DOOM. Man, if you don't play First Person Shooters on the PC, you're missing out. I agree with John Romero 100%. First Person Shooters are the most innovative, and long living genres. I also agree that more new developers have to focus on making a innovative game style instead of the companies that make rip-off GTA style game, etc. I especially was excited to hear that 2 of his most favorite games today, are also my favorite. FEAR and Half-Life 2.

I hate beta OS's. I just don't trust them enough to use them. And to hear that it's just theory that all my current games will run on Vista, Pffft... Forget about it, I will wait a few months for firm proof of that. Ok, what I really want to know is where can I find a list of games that are going to be for the Vista OS, that will also run on XP? Like, for example Crysis and Hellgate, are rumored to be Windows Vista games. But wont they run on XP? Yeah I know there is much better graphics with Vista DirectX10. But I like the way DirectX9.0c looks just as well. I'm already impressed with directX 9.0c compatibility. I don't need to be impressed even more, just yet, for a while. Well, there is one solution I guess. Buy a seperate Hard Drive for Vista.

As chettyharish mentioned. I am a believer of the PC; but, for the most part, because PC FPS are better than console shooters. Except for the ones were you can use a keyboard and mouse. Then I "might" reconsider. But!, I have a fast PC, so I like the PC First Person Shooters, no doubt.

Well, I have a small game collection of games today. You can call me the master-of-ultra-picky-sci-fi-shooters-for-the-pc. Far Cry DOOM 3 Quake 4 Half-Life 2 F.E.A.R. These are the top 5 coolest First Person Shooters out on the PC now. not because others say so. Yeah I do follow game reviews, etc. But, it's really because I say so. One problem today is people dismiss their current games to fast for the next one that is coming out. These games are ones I will never put down just to get int one new one. Because it will be a while until games like these get as old as classic DOOM.
