Sorry, too late Microsoft! You tried to bully us, told us to "deal" with your shitty policies now youre back peddling because you can see it blowing up in your face. Well **** YOU. You've lost my dollars forever. It's a matter of principal. DEAL WITH IT!!!!
@HenrySix You must be confused.... To come out and try to bully the consumer then back down at the first sign of resistance is not having balls. It's cowardice. Balls would have been standing behind their convictions and doing what they wanted to do regardless of the feedback. Which is what they said they were going to do just last week.
Couldn't agree more. These games look like the same old bullshit. Not saying PS4's are anything great but I'm not gonna let MS throw me over a barrel and take my rights away in the name of bland crap like this. **** you microsoft and **** you mindless fanboys! Let's see how much you like your xboxone when you buy one of these POS games and cant trade it in!
Great article! Good on Gamespot for calling Microsoft out publicly. And this: "It's the deluge of soulless sequels that have been churned out and die on the shelf because consumers can see through their brown and grey façade." is absolutely correct, imo. I have been buying fewer and fewer games over the past few years specifically because the quality has been decreasing, so they've been losing my dollars due to quality, not piracy.
@xeoneex66 @Gamernametaken Absolutely agree. They're played their hand and shown their true colors. Those leeches are never getting another cent from me.
This article sums up exactly how I feel. It's all about the difference of attitude. Microsoft is being so blatantly money hungry and controlling right now that it's nearly comical.
The other big thing that bothers me is Microsoft is one of the companies involved with the recent NSA surveillance scandal and now they want to have an always on microphone mandatory with their new console. I'm no conspiracy theorist but that's just crossing the line.....
@McGregor @Scardelli1 Exactly. Unless they are willing to put their reputation on the line by saying they won't ever impose restrictions, how do you know they aren't just waiting a couple of years until everyone's already bought their system to implement the restrictions? That would be a real knife in the back and something I can totally see Microsoft doing at this point. The trust is broken permanently for me.
