If you're a law-abiding citizen with valid identification, what do you have to worry about?
It's the universal signs of suspicious activity that prompt us to investigate. Your skin color isn't part of that.

at any rate as I said it before.. if you don't want drug and cartel related crimes (as I think is what most ppl think this law is gonna be fighting against and it's quoted as the most severe problem in AZ right now) in your communities then stop buying so many damn drugs and stop being #1 drug market in the world.. you stop buying > cartels stops selling cartels stop selling > they ran out of money they ran out of money > they can't afford those weapons >el fin. :)

But such cases will be in the vast minority. Do not equate the actions of a few officers to the tens of thousands of good officers, and deputies in Arizona. 500 rights do not justity 1 wrong.

well, people just need to always have their papers on them. this is just like Nazi Germany. racial profiling under this law is impossible as only Mexicans and other Latinos have been deported. in other news, the Mexican government cautioned its citizens against going on vacation in AZ for fear that they would be unfairly deported, which means that there will now be even fewer of those goddamn foreigners in Arizona!quiglythegreat

That would rarely, if ever, happen. The law specifically states that race and/or ethnicity cannot be the sole factors in determining a reasonable suspicion for being an illegal. You have to break a law first so a lawful contact can be made between you and an officer, in which then the officer can pursue -- if he has reasonable suspicion -- to see if you're an illegal. even what the law states that race or ethnicity can not be the sole factors for they asking you for showing id.. guess what.. race and ethnicity are gonna be the factors for stopping people..
