No that's not always true, history has proven that debating can bring discord and anarchy. Peace is only possible when you don't know everything the others are thinking, the more you debate the more you discover what others are thinking and the more you're gonna disagree.
To sum it up, if something works, just keep it this way and try new things from time to time, no need for debate...
