If you're willing to go up to $400, why not do the Nexus 4 16 GB, then? Even if it is only ~ 11.6 GB of actual space, do you think your parents would actually need that much?

Also, Google I/O is around the corner, so it might not hurt to wait to see if a 32 GB Nexus 4 is announced. I don't know if prices of the current two will be affected or not, of course, but it couldn't hurt to wait; maybe they'll pull a Nexus 7 and end up replacing the 8 GB altogether, then the 16 GB would be $300 and the 32 GB would be $350.

This may be stretching it because I don't know what "ish" means for you, but if 8 GB storage is enough for you (well, I think it's actually more like 6), you could pick up the Nexus 4 from the Play Store at $299 (although it will likely be another $35 or so for taxes and shipping).

This explains the reasoning behind the Nexus devices not having SD cards. I wish I could locate the separate write-up I saw not too long ago from an actual Google employee, but I cannot seem to find it...

I'm actually pretty intrigued by the Nexus 10. I love the screen resolution and hardware behind it, but I already have a Nexus 7 and love it. I think my friend is going to get a Nexus 10, so I may just wait and see how I feel about it after I can mess with his.

I've never felt that I have an accent of any distinctive nature. I'm a white fellow that was born and raised in the midwestern United States, so I've never felt that anything really stands out in regards to an accent. I'll let you guys judge and let me know what you think.

My voice for accent judgment!

I don't hate Metro; I just hate Metro on my desktop OS. It's ridiculous and unncessary, and it should not be included without a way to completely remove it. I know there are ways around it through third-parties and such, but it should be common sense for Microsoft that 8 should not include this. Do they really think that the average user in particular is going to like this? They hate change, and having to mess around with Metro seems to me like something that is not going to go over well.

Metro for tablets and touchscreen phones is fine, but a desktop or laptop user should not have to mess with it. I just... am amazed that Microsoft thinks this is a good idea. Oh well, that's just my thinking, though, so we'll see what happens.

From a technical standpoint, I can't say for certain.

In my own opinion, though, the second and third sentences convey the same thing while the first is different.

The way I read it is that it's being said as fact that the author of the book is a lunatic with the first sentence, and the other two are saying that it's a person's own opinion that the person that wrote the book is a lunatic.

Currently, it's TERA. I'm actually trying The Secret World this weekend, and it's proving to be quite interesting, at least to me. I may have to consider it in the future.

I'll admit the name isn't spectacular, but at least they have a real reasoning behind it.

On the plus side, no one appears to dislike the music, so I'd say this is rather successful.

Also, I have to say that I find it rather intriguing that so many find the robot thing creepy and odd whenever I found it to be rather interesting... I suppose I'm just weird. Oh well.
