Im curious to see what they can come up with. I have yet to play Heavy Rain and by all accounts it was more an interactive experience than an actual game, but they do push the medium with emotion and realistic characters and scenarios.

@TheLord_79 Not if you're paying for security. Like it or not, people paid Sony for a service. Sony didn't protect that service, and for a month, people couldn't access said service. On top of that, those same people who entrusted that service had their personal information stolen. Sony stalled on admitting what had happened (potentially affecting millions), then implemented a solution which didn't work, and finally decided - ok, we'll give all those who are loyal customers several old games that won't really cost us much in the long run. All the games have made profit, so Sony isn't really losing here. Of course, they'll lose money from some lost sales, but every step they've taken since their attack has been to protect their bottom line and not the private information of it's customers. Considering that Sony is a massive conglomerate of consumer goods, television, video games, music and film this is unacceptable. Considering how they've handled this situation is a complete slap in the face to their loyal customers. Sony should have prepared better, and the piddling compensation they're offering is nothing to the Playstation owner who could possibly face a lifetime of trouble.

Certainly a better looking title. More time with the console is easily allowing them greater freedom of artistic depiction. As with all consoles, graphics get better with experience.

I've played Raskulls at the Mana Bar - a gaming bar based in Brisbane. It feels very polished and fun already, and I hope it does well. If I could, I'd likely purchase it.

Even with the small amount of piracy going on - developers and publishers are making absolute wads of cash - increasingly every year. If they were so concerned over this - perhaps the future will see all games delivered digitally.

Nintendo Man - that may change. Casual services like Pogo and MSN, even the Foxtel games, are pushing them to consoles. For instance, my family love the Scene It? game on my Xbox 360, while my sister and her son alike delight in Super Mario Galaxy. While casual services like those you mentioned do take the lion's share of casual gamers, or older gamers, it's becoming more and more a reality that they are moving on to other pursuits as well. Just see how many people play WoW, for instance.

I agree - the future is online, digital distribution and importing. Costs are rising, and the ease of use of online is getting better. Add in the fact that games are shockingly cheaper and you have a convincing argument to not support local.

I think I might finally get one now. It's getting cheap and there's a mountain of games I'd like to try, starting with Crisis Core.
