Just finished this game last nite, great side-story game, check it out. Some of the most intense gameplay u'll ever come across, super fast-paced, insane music, insane storyline, which is expected of a Metal Gear game. A little short but well worth the money. It's over-the-top but not pretentious, and still serious.

My altime favorite game is Metal Gear Solid, and I love all the sequals from it as well. I'm looking at my game shelf and I see no game that rivals. Also love Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption, Vice City, Zone of the Enders...

2 totally different games, but Sonic Generations and Alice: Madness Returns. The first needs no explaination, but the second was a fantastic take on Alice in Wonderland, sort of a creepy horror movie sequal to it. Totally original game, amazing puzzles and controls, interesting characters, long levels, great story, super crisp graphics. Very addictive.

Easy controls is #1 for me. Fluid controls, and platforms that are reasonable to reach and u don't hafta miss because of stiff controls. I also look for creativity and originality. Also puzzles. If there's puzzles involved, I'm in. Although I prefer 2D platformers, cuz I grew up in the era of Genesis Sonic and all the countless 8 and 16-bit platformers. They're much harder but so addictive. Super Meatboy is total genius.

Definately Super Mario Bros 3 for me. I love Super Mario World, but believe it or not I prefer the NES Mario graphics to SNES Mario, and the gameplay is more challenging. I love all the Mario games, but the one that annoys me the most is Super Mario 64. And it's a great game, a masterpiece, but the camera angles in it are just the most frustrating thing ever. That's the case for most 3D platformers of that time. At the time when it came out, I was so up-in-arms about it, I never noticed what a hassle the camera angles are until 15 years later. It's one thing about 3D games that had yet to be perfected, and nowadays makes it very frustrating to play, when ur jumping to another platform and suddenly fall down a pit into some area u can't see, cuz the camera won't reach, and u move the toggle stick and u fall off an edge. The game is genius, but that one element annoys the shit outta me.
