I haven't played SM Sunshine yet, but I wouldn't be surprise if its a better game then SM64. I love that game, its a classic and all that shit, but when u play it nowadays, like so many other platformers of the mid-90s in the early 3D game movement, the camera angles are just awful. I forgive the game since it was one of the first 3D platformers, but it can be very frustrating to play when u fall down a hole or something, and u can't c where u landed, and then suddenly u fall off the whole level and die. By the time Gamecube came out, those camera issues had been ironed out and game designers had learned formulas for good 3D games without some of the early pitfalls. No pun intended.

Tenchu is one of the first games that comes to mind for me, in terms of good stealth games. Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven on PS2 was my favorite. I have Tenchu Z on 360, its pretty good, but not a gigantic step up from the others in the series. Wrath of Heaven though is an excellent game. It doesn't compare to the king of all stealth games, MGS, but its still great. Very bloody too.

MGS is my fav, theres not a game in the series that doesn't blow ur mind, MG Revengence is great, but not as much stealth elements. In fact, very little. I also recommend the Tenchu series. Tenchu Wrath of Heaven from PS2 is my favorite, but they're all real good. Tenchu Z was good, but there wasn't a huge leap between the PS2 era games and that one. Still a decent game though.

It's definately everything, but gameplay is the biggest. Excellent control of a character.

Ahem.. KIRBY'S ADVENTURE??? I agree with all these titles, but this is my fav NES game. Its just so mesmerizing, so gorgeous, the whole thing. Kirbys Dreamland is real great too, but its a small little gameboy game. 8-bit Kirby games are magical. The Kirby 64 game was a little too easy, and Kirby's Adventure def is one of the most forgiving NES games, but by today's standards its still a decent challenge at times. Considering so many 8-bit games are downright impossible, Kirby's Adventure is a breath of fresh air, and shows off what gorgeous things can be done with a simple 8-bit processor. Affects you just can't get from games of today. God bless the NES.

I lied, Catherine was an amazing game, one of my favorites. Idk if u'd classify it as an action-adventure, its just as much a puzzle game, but wat a work of art this is.
