I don't think that was it, I was trying to watch that FarCry 3 question thing you had up, and the Halo 4 review both of them loaded differently than normal. It fixed itself for me somehow though. The way the videos loaded looked different then normal when it happened, not sure how to describe it but its fine now.

What ever happened that made the videos stopped working for me somehow fixed itself. I just tried to load up a video and it asked for my date of birth and started working again.

When I right click the video and select Error Details after I try to play the video and nothing happens it says. "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I was able to watch some reviews a couple days ago but now I can't. I loaded the website with Firefox and it said I needed to update a plugin so I did and now the video boxes look abit different. It loads up, there is some text saying Ready, I click it and it says Opening media... and then switches back to Ready, nothing seems to happen. I can watch videos on other sites like youtube, not sure why I can't here.

I was just comparing the User Interface of the mmorpg Star Wars compared to a game with no UI which makes it look much better. Also thanks for helping me with the links.

And this is why I hate UI (Remove the spaces before and after gamespot, It would not let me add the link without doing that, Sorry new to the forums. Not sure why I can not paste a simple link.).

My ideal mmorpg would be of first person view locked in. No user interface except for how Skyrim set it up which would be Health, Mana and Stamina bars that come into view when you are low on each of them but fade away when you are at the Max. And to have a chat box on the top left side of the screen that you have the option of making it translucent or hiding it altogether. There would be no world map or a circle area radar map. No quest tracking, because there would be no quests. No bar at the bottom to place your hotkey spells or abilities. The less user interface the better (There would still be an option to hotkey spells and such, just no bar to place visual ui).

There would be no levels only skill gains and something like Ultima Online had where there was over 30 skills, each that could go up to 100 and let you have the max of 700 skill points to try and level them up in. Leveling them up would be just as hard as it was in Ultima Online. Stats would also be similar to UO where you could only place a limited number of Stats into Vit or Str or Int. I don't want a game where you can have over 100k health like in WoW. Max health would be nothing over 200.

Death penalty would be the total loss of all your gear just like in Ultima Online, you have to go back to your body to reclaim your items and even then people who pk you or monsters nearby or even players who just happen by your body can steal from it and commit a crime doing so (your body would remain for about 5-10 minutes before decaying completely and you would lose everything). Since there would be no levels, gear would be similar to uo or skyrim with different tiers of armor but nothing god like. Some rare magic armor and weapons can be dropped from monsters but nothing to over powered.

Player housing, factions, guilds, player built cities and all the similar stuff from ultima online like a set of 64 spells that any player could cast as long as they had the spells and spell book with the proper reagents. Also being able to have boats and sail the sea not knowing where the hell your going would be pretty cool (just like uo).

Basically stealing a lot of ideas from Ultima Online and Skyrim that would be a great mmorpg I think.

I know most of the mmorpgs that are out there like World of Warcraft and Star Wars have an option to zoom your screen all the way up close to pretend it is like a first person view. I was wondering if there were any plans of having one, or if there is any out there now that only have a first person view without the option of leaving it and being able to see your hands and feet instead of them becoming invisible.

I use to hate the first person view because of how much i like socom (not 4), but i've started to love it on games like skyrim and other fps. Thought it would be fun to play a mmorpg like that.
