@mjc0961 How about you look up Origin on wikipedia and look for yourself. Or even read the EULA saying they will not "use spyware or install spyware on users' machines". That sir is a legally binding contract and one they wouldn't break. Of course they'll scan your computer for Hardware for their purposes but many programs do that.
