@anzelm @Sevenizz As long as they're on your hard drive, they're yours for all eternity. You don't need to be online to play the Xbox Gold games.

@kidkadaj @JakeTehNub @pddrumheller Actually, that's why this is a good deal. Because when Xbox Live goes down, and support dries up, you can still play the game on your hard drive. Can't do that with Sony Plus. Since I still pull out the Genesis and SNES from time to time, I'm all about being able to play old games.

Pretty awesome! Reminds me of how all the Dynasty Warriors games get hammered in scores for being more of the same with just new levels and new characters thrown in. It's true, but at the same time I think it's important to distance yourself from a game series when reviewing, and simply observe it for a moment as it would stand for someone who has never played the game before. Fatigue aside, fun is fun. So while it's definitely good for the reviews to point out how a game doesn't tread new water, that shouldn't be nearly the detractor for a game that's still fun, regardless.

Well, that was amazingly coherent... I'm so used to people screaming at the top of their lungs over why everyone's choices in consoles stink that this video seems all wrong.

The fact is that this is probably the first time people are really considering waiting on new consoles. The current gen still has some shining titles, and by waiting not only do you get the handful of good games cheaper, but also the inevitable console with a bundled pack in. I'm waiting until next Xmas at the earliest. Maybe longer.

@enoslives7 @mkdms14 They're a company like any other. They answer to their shareholders, and do what they have to to make a profit. Can't fault them for that. You can fault them for some of the tactics they use if you wish, but certainly not the need to make more money.

@enoslives7 What he said. This game isn't even remotely ANYTHING like Skylanders apart from figures. It's got a lot more in common with Little Big Planet. But less tedious, and more fun.

@Adavanter I freaking LOVED the They Live mission. I figure all of seven people who played it got the references, but it was brilliant.

@RC-Sev @Repairman_Jack True. But the game shrugged that off pretty well with three, and now only has sandbox play and standard weaponry (of which I don't think I used for more than thirty minutes) to use as comparisons.
