PS3 is a mess the power is lost in trying to get it to work.   It takes too much to hand code each SPU and the split Memory is just a mess. 

YES PS3 is powerful but even now no one is doing all that they can to push it. But the question would be why... even for Sony the cost is just too much, as it would add time and money for the game to come out.   

Even now there is a point that has not been pushed but the bottom level has ben consistantly raised, and more developers can put ot some impressive games. Still it does not matter as their is a benchmark for multiplatform games and they try to get both consoles to have the game work the same.

Yes I agree that Sony did go overboard with DRM with the memory card, and it is a profit maker.  Still Microsoft is BY FAR and away Milking gamers.

IF it was just people complaining, do you HONESTLY think Microsoft would have changed things so dramatically?!  

Nobody knows what pushed them to present the console like that. It all looked so out of touch with reality and kinda hard to believe no one at MS thought it was a bad idea. All that and for what? For nothing because they are back at where they were with 360. They generated so much bad PR for nothing at all in the end.

They made the competition look like a savior and all the competition did was being plain and average.

Microsoft has the money they could have consulted with someone.  It was just ego, I guess?  Well we will soon see how bad/big this snowball gets. 

Titanfall is a timed exclusive from EA.....  the same people who brought Mass Effect  1, 2 and 3 to PS3 AFTER some time.

SO the list as it stands Microsoft has changed its mind on at least 7 areas most of wich they stood firm on not changing until it became in their finacial intrest that they change. 

Microsoft would not have changed if they though that it would be to their benifit in the long run, BUT the backlash was SO huge that they ditched their core differences with PS4.  We all know if Microsot even though that they sale about as many as PS4 they would have keep as many pollicies as Possible but they only have kept the kinect boxed in.... untill they change that also. will it still be the ONE?

So here we are 3 months prior to a November launch.  Microsoft has changed its console to that of the PS4 in almost every way. Now I will be the first to critise Sony for its bad decisions on the PS3 yet PS3 was able to game on regardless of the mess that it made.... and I am sure Microsoft will do the same. 

So far I'm not, I don't play video games to look at better graphics and more stuff on screen. That was my problem with this gen, I felt most game I played was a prettier version of something I already played before.

The first wave of games wll even play on all consoles. 

I was excited at first but with seeing more games that excitement is gone.

TRUE Sony must bring all they can this gen.  They need people to want to use the Move and other movements that work in the game. Persion is needed.

I will wait and see What everyone does. so it looks like my PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii will keep me busy for a while...   

 Sony's first party were relentless when they were developing for the PS3, we all know why .... can you imagine what they can do with the PS4 hardware .... not only is it more powerful than the Xone but also it's easier to develope for ... we should be expecting double of what we are seeing on the PS3 rightnow.

Of course true 3rd party exclusives are over .... unless it's a JRPG, then probablely we will be seeing some on the PS4 .... but the point is one of the major developing barrier for the PS console has been dropped, even Epic and those developers who ignored the PS3 because of the hostile environment of it are back and the Xbox has lost its console exclusive advantage.

Things will be very intresting one year from now when Sony's first party start focusing on PS4 100%.

Sony has a lot to work on THEY need to make the tools needed to push the console father than third parties will, as they will use engines that are equal on both consoles. 

Sony needs to work on New IP. (same for Nintendo, and Microsoft) New Game mechanics. Level design.  More on A.I, and physics.
