Sony fans are doing everything in their power to discredit the X1 since the policy reversals. They know that Sony messed up pouring all of their money into making the console easy to develop for, instead of giving it next gen features.
The ps4 is destined is fail.Sony was banking that MS would stick to their guns and enforce their "anti-consumerist" polices, but MS changed all of that. Now the ps4 has to stand on its own merit, and we all know the X1 beats out the ps4 in everything excluding specs, which we have no idea how much that will affect gameplay.
Thank you. This is why I am leaving the ps bandwagon and moving over to MS. If Sony flopped this hard this gen when they had money, guess how bad they will do next gen when their financial status is critical. Why do you think they are embracing Indie games? They are cheap, and MS has already made it clear they do not care for them, making Sony the only option left. Sony is selling the ps3.5 at a loss, the X1 has all the features of the ps3.5 plus more, and their exclusives are drying up. Meanwhile MS is entering next gen with console a guaranteeing to do well as well as oodles of money to mess around with.
Indie games are games made by independent developers. They generally have a tough time getting a lot of money to support their games, which is why they rely on unique, albeit shallow, gameplay mechanics. Holding them on par with big games like Ryse or Halo is a joke told by Sony ponies who will do anything in their power to make the ps3.5 seem next gen.
@HowlPendragon more=better? Plus, a lot of the Sony exclusives are low budget Indie games, not to mention that a lot of them will be for the ps3 as well.
This line up is considerably better than Sony, and while I cannot confirm whether it is the best lineup ever, I do believe it is better than the last 2 generations easy.
