Sapphire x800GTO 256MB Gddr3....430/530...unlocked to an x800XL
1GB PQI pc3200 performance series RAM
AMD Athlon 64 2800+ @ 2GHz
80GB Seagate HDD
VIA Mobo
350W Antec PSU.

Maxes out all games I own. Prey demo ran maxed @ 45fps. Bf2 runs medium-high 40-90fps, typcially hovering around 55.

will these system specs be able to run oblivion on high settings with distant lands on with a resolution of 1024x768?

3GHz Pentium 4

2 GB RAM

Nvidia Geforce 7900GT

250GB Hardrive

8x DVD-ROM drive

Someone1221

are you seriously asking this question? DO you not see the gfx card you possess? You should be able to do most  on high. maybe just maybe some on medium...because the outside enviroments (from what I here from other ppl) cripple your frames.

can i run oblivion with the distant lands feature with these specs?

1GHZ AMD 64 3200+ (I know, it sucks)

256mb ATI RADEON x1300

1GB RAM

I already did the system requirments lab and it innacuratley read my processor speed as 3.2 ghz, weird.

hobbit_foot44

You've got your CPU speed wrong, I have a AMD Athlon 64 2800+ and i'm at 1.8GHz. Im pretty sure yours is 2GHz. Your graphics card is what will be the bottleneck in Oblivion. it only has 4 pipelines. You may be able to achieve distance lands though, all you can do is buy the game and try it out.

Hi guys, I've got a really strange, frustrating problem. When I'm done creating my character and I'm starting a new game, my character moves veeeeeeery slowly, probably 1 mt every 3 seconds when running (!). This happens only to my character, as the rest of the NPCs moves with a normal speed.

Here are my specs:

Processor: AMD Sempron 2500+ 1.7 GHz

Video Board: GeForce 6800 GS 256 Mb

RAM: 1 Gigabyte

Mountain_Lion

I've never heard of that before, could be processor related but who knows. try closeing all background tasks before you play....defrag your HDD and do a disk cleanup. Not sure if this will help, but I suppose its worth a shot.

Im really hesitant on buying this game. After watching Gregs video review it seems like this game is really hard to run. I'd like to achieve at least medium settings with 2x AA at 1024x768 res with my x800XL 1GB RAM athlon 64 2800+.

Would this be possible? Or am I looking at low settings... -.-

I'm wondering whether I should buy this game. I just want it to run smoothly. My system specs are:

AMD Athlon 2400+

1GB pc3200 ram

ATI Radeon 9600xt 256mb

Does anyone play this game on similar specs?

doomed51

Dont, it wont run smoothly even on low. Theres dudes with 7800's struggling to get 40FPS or more in outside areas. Your RAM is fine, just get a new graphics card and processor...processor might even be fine, but its still pretty old and should be upgraded.

yup, i got a 7800GT, X2 4200+ and 1 gig ram, barely 20FPS outside, but indoors and cities its good..

what settings?
