@ itachi1993 I see your point and it is valid, but I still think it's capitalism because they are pushing for as much profit as possible, while trying to keep the wages (amount of work in this case) as low as possible. Mind you, I do not mind buying DLC and all the extra content. Sure, it is overpriced in my opinion and can make a $60 easily escalate to $100 after DLC and Add ons. In fact, the article author himself states he does not mind paying for those things as well at the beginning of the article. However, all those idiots who say "OMFG OVRPRICED DLC MAPS, NEVAR BUYING AGIN!!!!1111!" tend to buy them, over and over, only complaining more. The excuse "I'm only playing because my friends' play" is not really valid. If you really did not like the game, you would tell them it was stupid and you would go off and play with other friends, or play the game called reality. I will not lie, I play CoD and buy it every year. Yes, all my friends play, but I also enjoy it. It's FUN. But I know it's a bad game. Bad games can be fun too. Just like how "good art" can look ugly at the same time.

Capitalism, deal with it. Or go back to 1940s Mother Russia where you can line up for your weekly groceries and medicine.
