I figured the game would be short, since the real appeal is in the online community. Is it at least the same length as MW2? Or is it even shorter than that? And we also have Zombie mode and Co-op mode to look forward to so I don't mind the length that much.wwervin

About the same, but a bit more difficult at parts where there are respawning enemies. Don't get me wrong, I love it.

So I looked into it more, apparently all parties are safe because it's a legit copy and no receipt was produced. I'll probably plug'er in tomorrow after school! :D

So basically if there was no recipt made then there is no way of the store getting sued, and if it's a legit copy I can't get banned, right?

Why do I care about the store? It's a friends' business. I always unplug my Xbox whenever I get a game early, but before Zellers released Bad Company 2 a week ahead of time, and I kept my Live connected. Nothing happened to my account, but I don't know if the store got sued.

I know for a fact people are playing because some stores break street release date and editiors are bound to be playing. (I played BFBC2 with Jeff Gerstmann!=D)

And as far as I can see, unless you plug into Live, your achievements are not dated stamped.

I don't have a recipt yet and it's legit, so I'm assuming both parties are safe, but I'm going to wait until at least Monday before I plug in.

Thanks for everyones' input!

PS: Black Ops is short...even on Veteran. But who's actually surprised?

I've always wondered about these.

Some people say you get banned, others say you don't. Some stores get lawsuits, some don't get touched. Basically, my question is, if I get a game early, plug into life am I; going to get banned from Xbox Live? Get the store I got it from sued?

I know the sales of games do affect us as gamers. Primarily because sales usually determine whether if a sequel will be released. But quite honestly, I've never concerned myself with sales when trying to argue something, because I don't think sales can be the most accurate identification of a game's quality. Sure, Modern Warfare 2 was a great game, but I honestly think Modern Warfare 2 is overrated. Good game, heck, very good game, but still overrated.

I've yet to play either AC2, L4D2 or NSMBW, but I'm sure they're excellent.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know if the Xbox Live Subscription Prepaid Cards are region protected. So, if I buy a 12 month Xbox Live Card in the US or the UK will it work in Canada?

Ok, so my Xbox 360 got the RROD today, I already went through the internet procedures to have it repaired, I would just like to know what I should send with it. Obviously the Xbox 360, they don't need my harddrive, should I send my power adapter and audio video cables as well?

Thanks in advance.

Quite honestly, I was desperate for a new game, so I just had to buy ODST. To me, it was all I wanted. I knew the campaign would be short, and it was nice not to be to inhumanely powerful for a change. I found the campaign actually created an interesting atmosphere, both when you explored Mombasa Streets and played the flashbacks. I just missed some of those epic large scale battles Master Chief had a chance to take part in.

Firefight is fun, but I can't seem to find a game that doesn't lag. I really liked how they bundled all of the multiplayer maps into one and separated them into two disks. Much more convenient if my cheap friends want to borrow it.

Once I was in the same situation as you dude. I had a decent PC and I wanted an Xbox strictly for exlcusives. So, I bought an Xbox and various Xbox exclusives and enjoyed it. Well, my cousin and some other friends got it, so I mainly played my Xbox as a main gaming console. Well, now to be honest, if you favourite cousin didn't play my Xbox, I'd be back to PC gaming, because as nerdy or a waste as it sounds, I have CoD4, CoD:WaW and Left 4 Dead all on PC and Xbox 360. And quite honestly they're all better on PC.

So unless you have a burning urge to play an exclusive on the Xbox, stick to PC, plus you don't need to pay to play online with PC, whereas on Xbox its $59.99/month. I'm sure you know that you can upgrade your PC as you wish and the console, well what can you do? Overall judgement: Stick to PC and if you really must play an Xbox, just buy the exlusives. It will save you money in the long run.

Dude, its not $59.99/month!

Sorry, 59.99/YEAR. Do note, I am not hating on the Xbox 360, I love it just as much as my decent PC.

i dont like RE games so i dont care but i still think that RE 5 would come to the wii...

they made RE 4 for the wii... then they propably gonna make nr 5 too.butters0
Yeah but RE4 was going from a lower powered console to a higher powered console. RE5 would be going from a high powered console to a lower powered console. I could see it happening, but you'd have to tone it down a lot. Probably like the Dead Space port.
