I suppose all of you are right, on the Budget factor but the purchasing of these low-end cards is all to prevalent for those who'd like to game with high-settings. I understand fully that those who lack the funds should go with w/e is within their range.
Actually, when I see someone who wants to buy a 8600 GTS, I can't help feeling aggressive towards that person...

Rofl, that exactly how i feel, and unfortunately it seems that people believe having two of these cards somehow holds a place against the 8800 models..
I do not know why anyone would purchase an 8 series card below the mighty 8800, unless they have a laptop ofcourse but for a Desktop!! Muster up some MORE money and go for a card that undeniably owns 2* 7900's or 7950's.
Yep, an 8800 GTS will thrash 8600GTS's in sli...don't even think about going down that road. WhOOmpa260
Duhhh! lol, ALso Keep in mind that not every game is necessarly optimized for Sli so you might experience very little increase in performance if any depending on the game, so go withe the Monstrous and PoTENT 8800 320 mb gts.
Ok, the 8800 gts is an excellent card but it will not run as well at high resolutions like anything > than 1600 * 1200 so if you are using a monitor larger that 22 inches go with the 512mb Ati card but otherwise go with the gts.. How about a GTX?
Means your memory is using a improper address try running Memtest to see if its faulty RAM, this error could either be a driver error of memory error, have you installed any new drivers at all with new devices or anything like that? Might be a faulty driver
Ok the processor that came with my computer is an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+. Well its my 16th birthday tommorow and since i bought my own car i get to upgrade my whole PC! So i was wondering what Processor is good for gaming. I have done zero research on them so i have no clue how much they cost but i would like to stay at 450$ or less... now if there way more or way less than that and i didnt no please dont make fun of me. Unfortunately, You are ver limited to as what you can swap the processor with this being because the 3500 uses slot 939 and there are only but a few alternatives if any.
I've played it on the 360 and i believe there is nothing special about it. First Off, there are absolutely no combos to trigger "cool" animations which involve the Darkness(Or w/e the tentacles are). By this i mean there is an abundance of AUTO-Aim and other things lazy players enjoy.. the game is far too easy, so i'd hope that a port to PC jus t never even Happens.
