hello people, i recently bought something online for the first time using paypal. I ordered the item june the 3rd and its the 15th now with no delivery whatsoever.

My bank account balance is still the same, but not my paypal's whichgotdetucted the amount i paid for the item. im in canada btw

is this normal?

Its entirely possible that you just had coincidental HDD failure.

No it doesnt show up there. Well idk, i just find it wierd that it only happened after the update.

Do HDD failures happen often? Btw my pc was very dusty, i have an antec 300 case, with a filter on the front pannel and it was all blocked with thick dust, which i only removed after it broke. It was pretty dusty inside too.

Afew days ago i turned off my pc knowing it would install the updates automatically. The next day i turn it on, and it doesnt boot anymore.

I dont even get the Windows 7 loading screen. I tried to boot from my Windows 7 CD, all goes well andit gets to the installer. I tried every option that attempts to fix it with no success, even system recovery doesnt work. Finally, went to reinstall windows 7 and i cant. Tells me my hard drive is not signed.

I opened the case, disconnected the Harddrive cables and reconnected them, but it doesnt change anything.

I figure it is notbooting because it cant detect my Hard Drive. I am unable to format my pc and the only alternative left would be to buy a new HDD
