It looked like gameplay movie of Kill Zone. It's not espionage. There is no Ration! Your screen turns red and hen it gets fine. Perhaps they are now aiming towards becoming Battle field or COD.

After all it was an espionage game. It was ok to do Chinese style Revengence, cuz that was a spin off, but doing it to the main series. I hope this works. But then again, perhaps you are targeting new audience who don't know MGS like veterans.
& don't even get me started on " recruitment" . I think most people are jobless & hence this stupid concept of making factions & winning ghettos has become a mandatory thing. Started with GTA 4 now it seems that it has become a standard thing & gamespot.com loves it. The only game that get high rating from you are the once where player can run freely for the entire day(literally). Red dead redemption, Assassin creed 3, & now metal gear.
Gamespot didn't like GOW Judgement day, cuz there was no free running.

As for David's voice, i'm still skeptical if he's really been removed. Might be a surprise at the launch.
