obama would surrender to the terrorists and John McCain wouldn't.shoeman12

Obama supports gay marriage

McCain has a military background that could help in end the war for the good of both countries.

Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussein.pianist

The only sympathy these two deserve is that they didn't die sooner.

Almost everyone in the UK owns a mobile phone even young kids, is this the same in America or do you still use a piece of string and two cups on the end??????

I just get the impression that they haven't taken over the country like they have over here...

6ftUmpaLumpa

From my experience, about 1 out of every hundred people I come across does not have a cell phone.

Cell phone use is so extreme over here, that all or most pay phones have been removed. I remember when every gas station had a pay phone, but not any more. My service provider was having issues one day and I tried to find a pay phone to make some calls (yes, my cell has replaced a home phone) and had to drive around for a good hour before I found one,

I was in the grocery the other day and a ten year old kid was asking his mom to buy him one. (yes, I said in the grocery. They sell them in the grocery) She, being a wise parent said, "I'll think about it." In parent, this means, "No way in ****." The only reason I can see a kid needing a cell phone, is if they are going out on a ball trip or some other supervised activity and need to call their parents for a ride home.

BE NICE JERKS!!!WangDoodle007

Seriously? Someone went crying to another forum about how mean people are over here? Then you decide to "Do Something" about it by telling us this? If people were mean to begin with, don't you think that they're going to be just as mean after reading this thread? I'm not really a mean person, but this guy probably said some pretty stupid **** or was immature in some way and got his tail handed to him. Why don't you ask him what "really" happened?

I don't want credit for Gamestop. Anyone know any places?

angryguywalking

I'm pretty sure FYE gives cash for games. Also, I've sold movies to Suncoast for cash and they had used games there which they probably gave cash for.

[QUOTE="proud722"]You know what I find funny about that. There are mature kids on here but you would just assume they were adults and move on, however when there are some kids that show the rest up you act like their all like that. Immaturity and stereotyping are activities for all ages you know.LeviLRP

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't see anyone say that all kids act like that. Some younger people are mature for their age, but we are not talking to or about those people. This thread is reguarding those kid's who act their age.

I believe this heavily inclines that we are talking about young people in general and that the actions of these immature kids are creating the image of young people in general: "Younger people on this forum, and on Xbox Live, complain that everyone thinks they're immature. Getting on the forum here, and griping about not being able to do things you're legally prohibited from doing, does nothing to change this attitude."

First he says "Younger people" showing were talking about them as a whole and then goes on to say how they complain about people thinking they're immature. Then he talks about the immature ones coming on the forum and complaining about what they aren't yet legally prohibited to do. He then says this does nothing to change this attitude, so clearly the acts of these immature ones has led to the whole being viewed like that.

It's funny how you just use the words you want to use to make an argument. He says younger people that get on this forum and complain are showing their immaturity.

Sure he also generalises by not separating those kids from the rest but see what you want to see I guess.

That is because he is only complaining about the kids that are immature enough to come on here and complain that they are to young to get M rated games and such. There is no need to point out people that are not immature, young or not, as they are not immature and his post is about the immature kids.

Thank you! I couldn't have said that better myself. In an earlier post I mentioned that only the immature were rattled by this post. The mature, younger population represented here have all agreed with the TC.

What is the point of this thread? To whine about people whining? I don't get it, isn't this the 360 board?

FYI - I'm 27 so don't assume I'm a little kid, it's just this thread is doing the same thing they are doing... complaining.

GrandEscape

well look who posted it if that tells you anything

What do you mean, "look at who posted it?" Do you know anything about the TC? Do you even know his age? from a post of yours I read earlier, you don't. Any mature "kid" ( I use the word to describe an age, not to offend) who has posted on this thread has agreed with the TC. Only those for whom the message hit home were offended by it. If you were mature, you wouldn't have to try to argue with the "Big Kids."

im only 15, like a large majority of people on these forums (14-17) and i dont think you shuld have to be mature to be on the forums, or to play games in general..i mean whose right is it to tell someone else how to act? its freedom of speech & our 4 fathers fought for it, not to be taken down by some 26 year old who is on Gamespot more than having a life. i mean jeeze >.> get your priorities in orderGrandEscape

First of all, he doesn't say that you have to be a certain age to be on the forums. He says don't waste the time of mature people with your kid like shananigans.

Second of all, you talk about our forefathers, well I'll have you know that the TC has been to Iraq and has fought for this country and it's rights. So watch your mouth when you say that he's trying to "take away your freedom," the same freedom that he himself has fought for.
