The graphics in the game aren't bad. They are simply illustrative. Which means they aren't fully cell-shaded. The new art style is a welcoming change and it truly shows how creative Ubisoft Montreal is.

Just because this game has a different art-style/graphics doesn't mean it has poor graphics. The graphics in this game are truly "next-gen" and I'm sure they're pushing the limits of consoles.

Remember that this is an entirely new series, not related to Sands of Time trilogy in anyway.

From what I've read, the game sounds magnificent. The new type of graphics is certainly a welcoming change.

Actually they didn't smoke weed. It's a common misconception to have the drug Hashish and Hashashin mixed up. The Hashshashins never smoked weed or any Narcotics.

[QUOTE="julianwelton"]Wow I thought you were going to have good games in your poll like Bioshock, Mass Effect, or Gears, not 3 games with mediocre graphics.CreatureRising

Dude halo3 GOW and COD4 do NOT have medicore graphics

That's right. Halo does not have Mediocre graphics nor does GTA IV.

All these games "AAA" titles have impressive graphics. However, you cannot have Gears level of Graphics in a game like Halo 3 or GTA IV; especially GTA IV. These two games are at a much larger scale. It's also unfair to compare Halo 3, COD4 and Gears directly...but I suppose you can compare them in a more discrete way.

MGS4 will never be on the 360. Let a rivaling console have its own exclusives. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it if Halo and Gears were going over to the PS3. The chances of this happening is the same as MGS4 coming over to the Xbox 360.

Also writting "I've been thinking ever since MGS4 was announced for the PS3, and my idea from the start was to read the spoilers of what happens after the game is released next month. But then if the game comes out for XBOX 360 on a future date, i'll have no reason to play it. What should i do?" degrades your intelligence infront of your fellow forum members.

Sorry bro but that doesn't make sense. Why? Because MGS is published by Konami not Sony! another ball park there brother!

Oh really? Didn't you know that Sony helped developed this game? Didn't you know that this game's engine was built on the PlayStation 3's processor. Sony has a bigger role in MGS4 than you think.

TBH I could care less if every game ever made was for every game system there is at the time and then remade for the ones that come out later. I don't see why people really care so much about exclusives. The only reason I can see is to justify the buying of that system.

Exclusives are very important. Although multiplatforming is essential for a company's profit, exclusives are essential for console maker's profits. Besides there is no point of an Xbox 360 and PS3 if every single game was multiplatformed. It's all about competition. This is how our economy works.

Some publishers have decided not to come. I think it's because of the fact that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo announce all the games for them.

Just to make it clear: people shouldn't assume Cell Shading as "previous gen". That's just stupid. Learn about graphics. Cell shaded graphics is just a another way of presenting games and require equal amount of processor power as regular graphics.

For those people who just don't like Cell Shaded graphics. Well get use to it 'cause it's a cool concept and developers love to use it.

I wasn't to keen on the whole cell shaded graphics when I first saw it. Now I think its impressive. Also it shows that Ubi Montreal is trying out new stuff. It's good to see more creativity.

Also no, Prince of Persia isn't based on a compilation of stories that were based on different Prince's of Persia. The first Prince of Persia game is loosely based on one of the stories in a book called 1001 Nights. The Sands of Time concept is based on an Arabic Mythos.
