In some cases I'd say that is accurate. In a partial birth abortion which is late term the law says even if the baby survives the birth the medical staff cannot provide any life saving measures on the child. At this point the child is certainly viable and not dependent on the mother for survival. But when partial birth late term abortion is legal...this is the outcome.I just wish that people would be more honest about it, at least to the point where an abortion is called what it really is. Murder. It's knowingly and willfully ending another human life. Now, if someone wants to justify that (and thus not make it illegal), thats another story (sort of like how if person A kills person B in self defense, it's still murder......just not illegal).
