How is it news that the consoles will likely be unavailable at launch for those that didn't pre-order?

Doesn't surprise me at all. You average person only uses a computer for email and light web browsing and thus only need a tablet. Most people don't need a desktop or laptop. I think a lot of people are turned off by Windows 8 also so they don't want to get a new PC.

@StonerDemon Why is that? The game will have (presumably) better graphics and atmosphere on the next gen consoles. What more did people expect? Of course the game will PLAY the same.
