Depends on the brand of the clothes. Some brands I'm medium, others I'm small. Although jackets/zippers I usually buy large/medium, again, depending on the brand.

[QUOTE="cjek"][QUOTE="Phooter"]Just recently when Newcastle United sold Andy Carroll for 35 million pounds to Liverpool (the 7th most expensive transfer in football history). Also the most ridiculous transfer I've ever heard of, even as a Newcastle United fan I can admit that he is nowhere near worth that amount of money lol.

It is a very expensive transfer, I guess time will tell if it was worth it. But it's a blow to Newcastle no doubt, I can sympathise to how fans will feel. Anyway, for me it was either van Nistelrooy leaving Man Utd for Real Madrid, or Beckham leaving for the same club. Ronaldo being sold wasn't so bad; he was a great player in terms of ability, but I never attached to his personality at all, in fact I rather disliked him as a person. Interestingly he was also sold to the same team.

He's proven himself to be a great player and he was brilliant for the toon, even got them promoted (although not single-handedly imo). We still have great players in Nolan, Barton, Guthrie and Ben Arfa (whenever he returns). I just feel that now Carroll has left we're lacking up front, I still think Ameobi has some goals left in him, but Lovenkrands is past it.....However, that's just my opinion, I still believe Best can prove himself despite the many doubters, just wish they'd play him a bit more and give him the chance.

neither has torres been the last few months, also carrol is THE most expensive british player ever

It's a joke and that's coming from somebody who was grown up to be a NCUFC fan lol. Is Torres fit for Sunday? Will be some game if he's playing. Sadly I'm working :/

[QUOTE="Verge_6"][QUOTE="Phooter"]9/10, excellent mini-series which obviously took a lot of hard work to make. How is The Pacific? I have yet to watch it and I don't think they will ever show it on any terrestrial channels here in the UK, so the only other option is to buy the box set. Is the action on the same scale as BoB? How about the acting, are the characters believeable?

Acting is good, and there is an amount of action, just not as much as BoB. Characters....there's gonna be about three you'll care about. The Pacific's sole glaring flaw is that character development was awfully handled.

Hm. It's disappointing to hear that the character development isn't as deep as it was in Band Of Brothers. I may pick The Pacific up one day if it's on sale, I managed to get the Band Of Brothers special edition box set for 7 pounds so hopefully a deal like that for The Pacific comes along. [EDIT] Weird how these forums don't allow the pounds sign :S haha.
