Why are people continuing to pay attention to Rikusaki and now PerfectCode? Whatever they say they will not attract ppl to OnLive. It isn't the time for that kind of service, and to be honest, I hope it doesn't become mainstream in the future. Miroku32

Fixed. Thanks for sharing that interesting story!

Onlive is worthless for multiplayer I can't imagine the input lag you'd be getting with this system... if you have a ping of 60ms lets say, that means it takes an additional 60ms for your input to reach the server, then an additional 60ms for the server to send back the video...That's 120ms of input lag, And say you have a higher latency then 60ms say 100 or 150 that means 200+ ping all the time You can't play a game seriously with that. Then how about the image quality? is compressed and you lose detail and quality.... Cloud computing is only good for storing data and streaming the data to view. not for interacting with others in a game.

The service is unplayable for me and my isp isnt slow. onlive's isp and servers suck ass their weak dont even run max settings on games.XBOXRULEZHAHA4

A rude person would report comments like yours, but I'm not a rude person. I think everyone should say what they have to say so I welcome comments such as yours.

I am curious who your ISP is and where on the world you are located. If you do not want to share that is fine.

Download Speed: 13627 kbps (1703.4 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 10423 kbps (1302.9 KB/sec transfer rate) That's from a crappy server also on speed test. the service is horribly laggy and unplayable.XBOXRULEZHAHA4

By looking at your username, post count, copy paste results, lack of ping result, and unspecified website you did a speed test on, your opinion holds very little value.

It looks like you used a speakeasy.net server for your speed test. I would not call those servers "crappy".

PS: Stay in school kid. Education is key.

"My hardwarecan't run most of the game on OnLive" means his hardware is struggling with OnLive. If he put "My hardware cannot run most of the games that OnLive runs," then it would mean his hardware cannot run games at the settings OnLive does if he actually owned the product. Basic english man. Not my fault he mistyped it.

Son, like almost every other word, has multiple meanings. You use it in conversations as another way to express dude, bro, ect.

How does pointing out the obvious, aka things we've had for years on PC now, mean I suddenly know little about OnLive?

ChubbyGuy40

Incorrect. To the majority of people, I would expect they do not consider that to be the meaning. You thought it did, which is incorrect.

Regardless of the mutliple meanings people gave to the word "son". Saying it to someone who is not literally your son is simply stupid.

"I don't want random people looking at what I play or do..." Okay, so? Why did you say this? On OnLive you can set privacy settings so nobody can spectate you.

"And I can voice chat for free.... voice chatting is incredibly old". You can voice chat on OnLive for free too. Voice chatting is not new, I agree. So what? The two above quotes of yours are irrelevant.

You are pointing out obvious and irrelevant things because you know little about OnLive.
