@cejay0813 Yeah, I actually wasn't sure if it was an actual picture or not. Advanced Warfare looks absolutely stunning on a graphical level. Very impressed.
I love PC gaming as well. Being able to play even classic Nintendo games on my PC with an original N64 controller is an amazing experience. The PC is simply an incredibly diverse platform, and this video hit on most of the most important points as to why it is such a fantastic platform., and one that most people should seriously consider giving a go.
I don't care for football, but this was awesome and very creative. Many laughs were had.
I actually watched the Chile vs Brasil match today at work with my boss (well parts of it) and it was pretty fun. Not the match itself, but watching him yell and scream every now and then when either team scored. :P
@Baconelite But isn't every new game in an FPS franchise just new game modes and maps? :P
I personally feel like this deserves its own game, as it's quite different from what we consider a "core" battlefield game, not only in the theme , but it doesn't have any armoured vehicles, attack choppers and the combat is very infrantry centric combat, however we still have the great teamwork aspect of BF games.
I am very happy they've released the beta this far before the actual release date as this allows them to actually tweak and improve the game based on community feedback before release.
As for the netcode, it's using the 10/10 tickrate (IIRC), however it will use whatever CTE finds to be best upon release (which currently seems to be 30/30) (tickrate is how many times per second the game sends info to the server).
I wont be buying this on release purely because of my experience with BF4, I do however want to play this game because it's been fun, and that's what gaming is all about.
And lol, there will obviously be more game modes and maps. IIRC there are to be 4-5 new modes at launch (and probably TDM as well) and probably around 10 maps.
That Metro redux stuff sounds like a pretty sweet deal, especially for PS4 and Xbox One users.
I do find it a little silly how intense the focus is on the whole resolution and frame rate stuff. I can't recall hearing a lot about that for previous generations. I guess people are just more educated/picky these days.
@GunEye PC is always better, assuming your graphics card isn't ancient.
And at least in Norway, PC games are generally $10-20 cheaper than on PS4/Xbox One.
And since you can already connect your controller to the PC to play, I'd say go with whatever you want, it shouldn't be a noticeable difference with games like these.
Oh, and as for stuff speaking through the speakers on controllers, I personally can't stand that and always turned it off when I played stuff on my Wii.
And if stuff gets too loud...I dunno, turn down the volume a little? :P
