COD is one of the few FPS games that still care about SP and offer a very good story and an epic SP that you'll play several times. Although that graphics look very very VERY dated I still respect them for caring about SP and I'm willing to buy this game.
@Bowser05 The multiplayer in AC: R didn't really effect the singleplayer but it's still a lot shorter than AC 2 which had no MP. I'm not against MP as long as it doesn't effect the SP but I'm just afraid that the MP in GoW: A might hurt the epic SP. Any way I'll stay optimistic for an epic SP.
@Bowser05 I wasn't saying that FPS and fighting games are the only ones that benefit from multiplayer but rather are the two genres where online is the focus. I play AC: R and Dead Space 2 multiplayer which is fun but not the focus of the game. In stunning cinematic experience games like God of War I'd prefer if the developer would focus all their job on the singleplayer experience.
This is not FPS game nor a fighting game so I don't see a reason for a multiplayer as I'm so afraid they'll make it like 3 hours of singleplayer. Without muliplayer all GoW games were like 8 hours so how about now with multiplayer. :(
If Sony and MS are going to lock their systems and make them only playable online (with internet connectivity) then I'll be no longer a Big Fan of the PlayStation and will go then with the Wii U.
That's why I only buy games after watching game-play trailers. Dragon Age II cinematic trailer was epic as hell but the real game wasn't that good. Maybe the real honest cinematic trailers that I've watched were Batman: Arkham City Hugo Strange trailer, all Assassin's Creed cinematic trailers and Demon's Souls cinematic trailer.
