It looks terrible because the game is a mod of another game that came out in 2004. Valve has no reason to create a new engine when they can sell mods for $60.

it does look kinda the same i agree....but i think what most people have aproblem with is, what could they possibly add to that game in such a short amount of time, and if so why havent they added it to the first since they have left it so shallow....yep that sounds like the real problem to me lol

Yes. Except it wasn't a gun in the same manner you would think of. It was a concealed gun placed on the assassin's wristblade. There WAS a barrel though.
