TC, if your PS3 is freezing up, here's what you do...
Turn off the power....then turn it back on. OMG it's a miracle! Look, games/systems freezing up has been in video gaming since the franchise started. No system is perfect, and will eventually run into it's own problems (depending on how long that is).
However, if all you are complaiing about is the PS3 freezing up every so often ,I think you should really look into what other console owners are dealing with (RRoD and duel-layered Wii disks...).

My console has frozen once in a year or so (gh3 if I remember right).... it's from Microsoft. :)
And the funny part is, Halo3 is actually looking superior compared to the last screenshots I saw of Killzone2.... and that's pretty awesome being a close to two year old game!!!
If it happens every 20 seconds it sounds like something is timing out in the router. Could be some sort of protective (denial of service prevention for example) mechanism, or similar.
Nobody is disputing the fact that CoD4 is easymode, but Halo 3 isn't the most competitive game ever either. It basically comes down to holding down the trigger on the AR while running at the guy, and then meleeing him. Sprinkle in some grenades and rushing for the power weapons, and you have Halo.pyromaniac223

Very much NOT so, pyromaniac223.... to manage anything above total suckage online, you have to aim head only (spray and melee only get's you a 50/50 ratio average = suckage).... that may sound easy, but it ain't... also, sprinkle granades doesn't work apart from you getting lucky, because you have to place the granade right at the opponent/s. ... have you even played Halo3?
Let me just add it's a damn good thing failstation isn't the head dev platform for GH: World Tour, otherwise the 360 would end up with a complete crap of a game. Like GHIII is on the ps3.
Activision BOUGHT the rights to Guitar Hero. That means they OWN the game, and everything you associate with it. Then, Harmonix developed Rock Band which COPIED Guitar Hero in just about every way. Now, who copied who?
